I'd say you'd because it matches the past tense from the other statement. Also
you could add had in to the clause before but not have.

There is only the one verb associated with you. So in MO either could be
correct depending on where you want the stress.
How firm is your past? You'd.
How firm is your current possession? You've.
Keep in mind person speaking tells of what might happen - present with future
implied and about what has happened clearly in past tense. I think for that
reason I'd lean towards you'd.

I'm leaning toward "you've" but I keep waffling.
I tried it with "you tamed" but it doesn't sound right.
