HS Associates,
Scott is back at Kernan in room 607 tonight. The infection in his leg involves
the bone so they called in an infectious disease doctor. They are giving him 2
different types of IV antibiotics and we are told that it will be a 6 week
course of treatment. Needless to say, that will delay the surgery to repair
the bones in his ankle and we are bummed out about that. We don’t know how
long he will be at Kernan or where he will go from there. But he will resume
his intensive PT tomorrow so at least he has something to work on. And he is
back online. He’s hanging in there!
