Nicely done to 9 of our MiraCosta College cyber warriors who made the trek to
last week's Capture the Flag & Networking Event sponsored by The Alliance
Cybersecurity Converge Tour and PLNU. Sounds like it was a great session where
students were able to meet key personnel from the FBI, Illumina, City of San
Diego Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and other CISOs who are part of
the San Diego CISO Roundtable. Special CONGRATS to Kai Xie and Ulises Pina who
outperformed students from SDSU, USD, Grossmont, and other institutions to win
the Capture the Flag event!!!
As a reminder, PLNU will be having an Information Event today (Tuesday
10/15@6:00-7:30PM) to talk about their Computer Information Technology (CIT)
program. Presenters will include current students and past graduates. The
event will be in Aztlan B and a great opportunity to ask graduates how
marketable they are after completing their MCC and PLNU programs.
Have a great day!
