Great meeting tonight ClubITers, and thank you all for bearing with us
while we work through the minutiae of making sure everyone is squared away
and situated in regards to the club's many platforms. Questions are always
welcome and now that we've got the train chuggin' we're really ready to set
out on another amazing semester. For those unable to make it this week or
for anyone who may need a recap, this week we:
*-*Talked about National Cyber League and answered questions as well as
polled interest. If you weren't present at the meeting or have had a change
of heart about participating, please reach out to me so we can secure you a
registration code.
*-*Filled our empty council positions! Congratulations to Johnathan our new
VP, Daphne our new Secretary, John Paul our new Social Media chair, and our
new ICC Representatives Jennifer and Eric!
*-*Walked through some National Cyber League gym exercises with Anna's
expertise to give everyone a feel for what NCL is all about. If you're
still confused or hesitant, worry not, we'll be going over various
techniques and challenges in preparation for the competition and sharing
with you our favorite tools.
*-*Re-shared some links and info to get everyone connected on the Discord,
Engage and Freelists(if you're reading this email, freelists worked!). If
you need an invite to any of those don't hesitate to reach out.
*-*Mused about connection in the digital age as we've come it know, love,
and hate it.
The key to success is to de-stress so focus on your classes, don't stress
the small stuff, and we hope to see you:
