Awesome meeting tonight ClubITers, and great conversation to boot! We gave
out a lot of information on coming events and guest speakers, so please
look this recap over if you could not be present or need a date clarified.
For those unable to make it this week or for anyone who might need a
refresher, this week we:
-Discussed our trials and triumphs with the National Cyber League's
individual games that took place over the weekend. The team game starts
April 9th and goes through the 11th. Asking questions and working together
is not only allowed for this round, it's the whole point of it!
-Touched base on SoCal Cyber Cup. Qualification rounds for that competition
begin April 22nd and go through the 24th.
-Scheduled a presentation with Cox for our next meeting. All members are
encouraged to show up and take advantage of this very special opportunity!
-Got introduced to Randy Velliquette, our mentor for NCL and the SoCal
Cyber Cup. Randy will be with us from 3:30 - 4:00 at the next few club
meetings to answer any cyber competition questions we have. You will also
find him in our discord. We are privileged to have him as a resource to use!
-Re-emphasized our intent to build up our NCL toolbox for current and
future competitions.
Kick-off the second half of the semester strong! The joy is the doing. We
hope to see you next week:
