Awesome meeting tonight ClubITers, loved the energy! We were graced with a
new face this week in addition to another great student turn out. Let's
keep the momentum going! For those unable to make it this week or for
anyone who might need a refresher, this week we:
-Distributed the NCL codes to those who still needed them.
-Were given an excellent tour of the National Cyber League gym and multiple
in depth demos from member Cody. Member Ricardo also shared a video he made
on password cracking using hashcat. This was recorded and has been posted
in the Announcements channel of our Discord server for all to refer back
to.
-Announced our success in getting in contact with Palomar's tech club, and
are currently looking for ideas for things we can do together.
-Listed a couple of volunteer opportunities for individuals and the club as
a whole. The first being MiraCosta's virtual STREAM festival

which needs volunteers and recorded presentations, and the second
being MiraCosta's
Food Pantry
<https://www.miracosta.edu/student-services/care/food-pantry.html>, which
is always seeking volunteers to help bag and distribute food. Ideas from
STREAM are still being kicked around, and we would love to get a big group
together for one or more of the food drives.
-All whipped out our Raspberry PIs. As a club we have many.
