I had just uploaded my fourth video. My goals for the end of 2023 were to
have uploaded 100 videos, to have 1,000 subscribers, to have an active
email group with 10 Kirby Urners (the M4W unit of positive energy), and to
receive 100 euros per month from Patreon supporters.
In August, 2023, at the end of my summer trip to the US for outreach, these
goals seemed unachievable.

I had uploaded 37 videos and had 116 subscribers. The total number of views
was 4,500, which actually means that about 450 had watched an entire video
and another 450 had watched the first 10 minutes, and the rest just the
first few minutes. One video about the ways of figuring things out in
mathematics ("Surface Structure vs. Deep Structure") had spurted, receiving
700 views in 3 days along with encouraging comments asking for more. But
my three months of outreach efforts made it clear that my endeavor is so
unusual and demanding that it doesn't make sense to look for people who
could be interested but I should rather focus on the people like you who
are!
I spent time with Jere, Aslam, John and now Daniel, and so we have four
productive study groups on language of wisdom (and ecotechnology),
sociology, physics and knowledge engineering. In each group, I care to
support their leadership through investigation. We record videos, organize
events and I show where Wondrous Wisdom is relevant as a language of wisdom
for a culture of investigation. Thanks also to Kirby, and Jon, Ryan, Bill,
Franz, and others who write our group, we have a supportive community.
Indeed, we now have a steering committee to make the most of our synergy,
and with Daniel's interests in knowledge engineering, we can develop an
online world for our investigatory work. All of this means that Math 4
Wisdom, along with our videos, wiki pages and our correspondence is a real
manifestation of the investigatory community I seek, and also the relevance
of Wondrous Wisdom, as a language that we are making sense of.
I have stayed true to my strategy of presenting my full variety of
interests without trying to capture any particular audience. Curiously, in
September, 2023, our viewership rose by an order of magnitude, and has kept
steady at this new level. Our total numbers have grown six-fold! We have
had 27,000 views so far, with 867 subscribers, and we are on-track to have
1,000 subscribers in April. This is mainly due to interest in two videos.

Our No.1 video stars John, No.3 is about Jere, and No.9 features Aslam.
Kirby and Ryan helped me make No.6 Bill joined them in No.1, Thomas
appears in No.5 and No.8, and Samuel participated in No.9 Our videos are a
team effort, thank you! I am also glad that Wondrous Wisdom is well
represented and there is interest in Jere's Ododu and Aslam's sociology but
also in the advanced math that is key for Math 4 Wisdom.
I have uploaded 71 videos. I publish about two per week. The typical video
receives about 100 views, which means about 10 or 20 people actually watch
all or part. Yet some of these less watched videos actually have a greater
impact in attracting new participants, like Daniel, or new Patreon
supporters. Currently, I have 6 Patreon supporters who contribute a total
of 82 euros per month. Half of that is from people who I did not know from
before, which I find very encouraging.
Once I reach 1,000 subscribers and also 4,000 viewed hours per year, then I
could receive payments from YouTube. Currently, the number of viewed hours
is only about 250 per month, which would be 3,000 per year, so that would
need to grow. And even if it did, I would likely get paid about 5 dollars
per 1,000 views, which is to say, about 25 dollars per month.
Financially, I have been living from my savings, which now stand at 9,000
euros. My living expenses are about 700 euros per month. So I am planning
to keep focusing on developing Math 4 Wisdom for another six months, until
September 1st. When my savings dip below 5,000 euros, then I will switch
modes and look for income, for example, from part-time work. At that
point, I will cut down my Math 4 Wisdom to the minimum. So before then, I
will try to get some more things done, making my Wondrous Wisdom
presentable to those who could be interested, and developing some Math 4
Wisdom research activities that could continue for some time even with my
minimal participation.
I am grateful to know that Jere appreciates our research together, and
wants to help me should he be able, and also that Daniel can alert me to
various opportunities. I appreciate that very much. Six months from now I
may simply look for part-time and/or temporary work but I think it would be
meaningful to seek and find that through our extended network.
It may or may not happen that Math 4 Wisdom experiences tenfold growth to
another level of magnitude, rising to 10,000 subscribers, perhaps 1,000
euros per month from 60 Patreon supporters, perhaps 200 euros per month
from YouTube. Our email group has about 30 subscribers and that could grow
to 300. I estimate we have 7 Kirbys (Jere, Aslam, John, Daniel,...) and I
imagine if we had 70 Kirbys! We have 4 study groups and could have 40. I
don't have any belief that I myself can make that happen. I do imagine it
could happen, and that this is one possible way for me to make my living.
I do know that the YouTube AI algorithms are able to find audiences, and so
I simply focus on making real my own vision and learning how it can be
relevant for you and others, how to include and embrace you and others.
Looking ahead, the crucial point for me is that Math 4 Wisdom has achieved
the critical mass I have sought, in that I feel we are a supportive
environment for me and my growth and you and yours as well. Please keep me
and us posted on how we can help you grow as a person and an investigator.

I would like to publish perhaps 20 more to overview the basic structures.
Indeed, thanks to Jere's interest, I have been documenting the vocabulary
of Wondrous Wisdom, with about 30 research question I think about, and with
related pages with links to my many presentations.

Next week, I plan to go through this overview with Thomas Gajdosik, and
then publish that as one or more videos. Since 2016, I have visited Thomas
many times, often once a month, giving him four or five hour updates on my
original research in theology, philosophy, personal growth, math and
physics.
Again, thanks to Jere's interest, I have been making good progress in
overviewing the big picture, how God and human relate. I am also making
progress in studying three languages of argumentation (how issues come to
matter), verbalization (how meaning arises) and narration (how events
happen). It is helping me to think of these as the languages for three
minds - Unconscious, Conscious, Consciousness - respectively. I am studying
chess games as a source of data. I also want to systematize the ways that
language learners figure things out. I am glad that Kirby and Daniel are
now active in Jere's Language of Wisdom study group and I am grateful for
Jere's leadership there and, in that context, studying connections with
Jere's language of wisdom - the Relational Symmetry Paradigm - and his own
constructed language, Ododu - I look forward to making progress.

In particular, I want to learn to work together on several projects to
construct tables of examples relevant for our languages of wisdom. In
particular, a table of individuals, with our deepest values and our
relationships with truth, so that we could try to map out the landscape of
truth.

Another table would collect examples of conceptual frameworks from all
manner of thinkers, perhaps starting with Karl Friston and the "active
inference" community, as Daniel is President of the Active Inference

I am interested in how Wondrous Wisdom could decode the language of
biochemistry. Daniel and I could also collect the ways that ant colonies
figure things out. This could also be done at our Math 4 Wisdom wiki, so we
will learn what each technology is best for. The crucial thing is for
Daniel and me to find a project which interests both of us so that we can

I think I should take the opportunity to write and submit an academic paper
about the Three Minds (Unconscious, Conscious, Consciousness) and Eight
Mental States (the divisions of everything). Philosophy and the Mind

I am thinking, with Daniel's help, to consider what my theory would say
about an ant colony, as suggested in this paper that Daniel coauthored,

I also look forward to studying active inference, and relating the ideas to
Wondrous Wisdom, including the free energy principle, which relates to
Jere's interest in the maximum entropy principle, John's interests in the
evolution of dynamical systems, and my own interests in random matrices.
If I publish one or two academic papers, then I could be accepted in the
Mathematics of Consciousness society and community, which could open more
avenues.
The original purpose of Math 4 Wisdom is to show how the cognitive
frameworks of Wondrous Wisdom are evident in advanced mathematics. I am
encouraged that my video how the Yoneda embedding expresses the foursome
(Whether, What, How, Why) is listed second, among videos, on searching for
"Yoneda embedding", and tenth on searching for "Yoneda lemma". My video on
Bott periodicity and the divisions of everything has, this last week, grown
from 200 views to 700 views, and is listed third on searching for "Bott
periodicity". I want to cover more topics and I would like to publish a
video once a week on my mathematical investigations and thus engage
thinkers in advanced mathematics.
Currently, I am researching the orthogonal Sheffer polynomials as a
combinatorial alternative to the wave function in quantum mechanics. After
I present that, I want to return to Bott periodicity and understand how
random matrices - the Gaussian orthogonal ensembles, Gaussian unitary
ensembles, Gaussian symplectic ensembles - ground CPT symmetry (charge
conjugation, parity, time reversal), which is metaphysically significant
and seems related to the twosome for existence, threesome for participation
and foursome for knowledge. I will also want to look at the divisions of
everything as carving up mental space as modeled by chain complexes in
homology. I want to show how six conceptions of these divisions arise in
classifying adjunctions (mathematical analogies) in category theory. I
would like to have videos about these topics while I still can these next
six months.
There is a real interest in my systematization of the 24 ways of figuring
things out in mathematics. Before I make more videos on that, I would like
to collect hundreds of examples, and especially, have a profound
understanding of geometry, what it is actually about, what the great
thinkers of geometry understand it to be. I am glad that in the category
theory I received a lot of help from Todd Trimble, a colleague of John Baez
at UC Riverside.

I want to reach out to mathematicians who I want to learn from, including
our own Francis Howard.
John Harland will be visiting me in Lithuania from May 17 to May 28. This
will be great fun but also we will have many conversations, especially
about his research in mathematical physics. So before that I will want to
study relevant topics such as SU(2), special relativity, the foundations of
quantum mechanics, spinors and so on. I look forward to introducing John
to Thomas, Bill, Raimundas and my father Edmundas.
The best outreach for Math 4 Wisdom, I have learned, is when people find
us, even more so, when they already know some of us, as with Daniel, who
knows Kirby. I do want to emphasize the goal of having women participate.
From my earlier experience organizing Minciu Sodas for independent
thinkers, I can say it is like going from black and white to full color.
Currently, our viewership is 96% male and 4% female. About 40% are from 25
to 34 years old. About one-tenth of our subscribers let me know who they
are, and many of them are graduate students, professors, engineers,
programmers and entrepreneurs. Very few are women.
For me, it is also important to include God, as a reference for our
meaning, in an absolute sense, and as a fellow investigator, who cares as
we all do. I am grateful to all of us that we can, as relevant, direct our
prayers, as relevant for meaning, as each of us thinks best. Thank you!

Aslam, I wish you success in defending your PhD Thesis. Afterwards, it
will be fun when you give us the Math 4 Wisdom Distinguished Lecture about
