[MASC] Scallops/easy boat diving on Monday

Hi all,
A well loved past club and committee member (Janine Gin - famous for
hosting the notorious Radelaide trip, naming Logan, and her desperate love
of eating underwater animal) is visiting from Adelaide and requested to go
diving - when asked what her preference was, of all the amazing Melbourne
diving, she picked... scallops off Rye.
Thus, next Monday, will be a cruisey day on the boat, probably going out
from Rye to get scallops, and maybe also do the likes of Rosebud Reef, the
Hurricane, Mount Martha Artificial Reef and/or South Channel Fort. All
depends what we feel like on the day.
Don't forget you need a recreational fishing licence!

You will need to be a member of both MONUC and MASC to come along.
Costs will be about $25 per dive, plus donation for towing the boat down to
Rye and sharing costs of things like boat ramp parking and Canberra fees
etc.You'll also need to be responsible for bringing all the personal stuff
necessary for you to dive, including:
- 2 full tanks
- Dive computer
- Safety sausage or deployable SMB (highly recommended)
- Torch, knife and whistle are highly recommended- Lunch
- Slate & pencil if you have one, for doing science
YOU WILL BE COMPLETELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN DIVES AND NEED TO BE ABLE
TO LOOK AFTER AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOURSELF (ie. there will be no
divemasters or instructors, just a bunch of friendly other people who will
take it in turns to drive the boat and do some of their own diving).
