Hi all,
I've been in touch with Parks Vic and a few other parties. Although they
won't have anyone at the Saturday night BBQ this year, they are still keen
to run a fairly informal session on Sunday night about diving.
After last year and the general failure of the public to turn up, it is
AIMED AT DIVERS instead. Please come, and bring your club members. It's
probably around 7pm.
There will be one presentation by the guys from Getunder, focussing on
the deep wrecks around the Prom. We will also probably show one of Alan
Beckhurst's videos, and there is an opportunity for another presentation if
someone would like to volunteer (please?!).
In other matters, handing out flyers (both for boat/diver/beachgoer safety,
and for information) at the gate was not an option PV was prepared to
consider, but they are going to put up posters in various places around the
campground.
