  regarding the two questions posed by the National Judicial Task Force. If you
have not done so, please provide any thoughts on the below questions so we can
ensure our input is heard by our partners on the Task Force as they develop
policy recommendations and best practices. If you have any questions, please
don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly!

  1.  What would the very best courts in the United States do and what would
they look like if they were designed and operated to most effectively and
successfully serve and respond to the needs of those with serious mental
illness?
  2.  What actions would you recommend that state chief justices take toward
the revision and reform of their state court systems to better serve
individuals with serious mental illness?
