Dangerous Diagnosis: How the Legal System Fails Those with Mental Illness. The
link to the webinar is listed in the first paragraph of the attached email as a
Youtube connection. So much of the material in the webinar mirrored the MAC
steering committee on Policing/Justice/Mental Health report.

The two attachments are part of the materials for Anne Arundel County, MD. One
describes the response to the Capital/Gazette shooting on June 28, 2018
utilizing CISM and psychological first aid and how it should be a model
response for community violence. The other is on Anne Arundel County Safe
Stations and how the County utilizes the SAFER-R model of psychological
first-aid to assist anyone with substance use disorder find recovery. The paper
details how the County assists folks in recovery, the success rate getting
individuals into recovery, and the unattended consequences of a reduction in
crime.
