Hello,
Please be advised: I have updated the MandateRPG webpage.
http://southamptonguild.co.uk/mandate-rpg/ ;
Rules for planning your expedition are now available, including travel
time, foraging and encumbrance.
Rules for encumbrance. These are explained on the page, but the general
principles are:
Items are either negligible weight (less than a pound), Light (between 1
and 5 pounds) or Bulky (reasons include length). Worked examples may be
found under Carrying Things and Bulk. This system is adapted from the PF2e
rules on Bulk and I've adjusted the limits to allow for the stated options
in the PHB. If your character is dumping Strength, then expect to be
policed on this matter. :) (The limits are however, quite generous).
Forage. Goodberry is errated to feed only Small and Medium Creatures.
This may become super useful for Desert Travel. You will still require
Water. A Medium or Small creature requires at least 1lb of food and 2
Waterskins of water per day or you will not recover properly on a long rest.
Travel. Travel speeds and modes of travel are discussed. This information
is taken from the DMG.
Any problems or questions, please contact me!

Accepting of those who suffer from Airsickness.
You will be expected to bring your own rations and equipment.

They came in the night, stole rations, pride and tools. Their hides

They go very fast.
Make sure any Smidgens you bring haven’t sold all their things to get
here. They won’t all be able to sustain themselves on lowland weeds.

I agree with Harry, beware the blue rats. They stole my weapon and

We’ve marked a few things we saw after climbing part of the mountain
that could be of interest. We also found a tin mine but there’s not
much left to it for the time being.
Otherwise my advice would be to mind the bugs, and bring someone
strong.
On that note, we didn’t vote who to give the MVP points to, but I’d
vote for Harry since he both literally and figuratively carried us.

The intent is to incentivise small 3-4 player
parties over big 5-6. Risk vs reward.
Also to remove the incentive to babysit.
Thoughts welcome, as these rules aren't being
applied to anyone yet.
