Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend, even if its not a bank holiday 😊
A couple of events to let you know about this week – here’s all the details….
* The Quiz with No Name: Friday 19th May @ 7.15pm at Holyport Memorial
Hall: This is our club event, so we need full support from all of you please!
Teams of up to 8 people, but we can also join teams together if you don't have
a full complement of eight. With several fun rounds including the ever-popular
Dingbats, geography and general knowledge it’s going to be a great night. But
don't worry it’s not mastermind, we promise they'll be questions everyone can
answer! But will your team be crowned Champions? Tickets are £17 each and
include mezze platters for each table and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink
on arrival. Doors open at 7.15pm and the quiz will start at 7.30pm. We will be
running a cash bar (cards will be accepted) and providing mezze for your tables
to keep those brains working at full speed! Get your tickets today either by

* Speakers Meeting – Sunday 21st May @ 10.30am at the Football Club: At
this meeting we’re being joined by Jesal, a member of the RBWM Communities
Together team who will be telling us more about this initiative and how we can
support it as a Rotary Club. It’s also your chance to perhaps ask questions
about what the council are doing to make stronger communities! In addition
there’s lots of exciting events coming up so come along to find out more, plus
a chance to celebrate after what I’m sure is going to be a very successful quiz
night! Remember please do bring your Rotary mugs with you as there isn’t
always cups available at the venue – it’s also the reason we present them when
you become a member of the club; and do arrive with time to spare to make your
drinks etc so we can start at 10.30am promptly. If you’re not able to join us
in person we will send the zoom link out on Friday both by email and WhatsApp
so keep an eye out for it!
