30 Hour Advanced Literature CourseThe program for Integrating Higher-order
Thinking Skills into Literature Teaching has been running in our educational
system in Israel since 2008. Since the program has been adapted in light of
feedback from the field and based on the recent “Meaningful Learning” reforms
in the Ministry of Education, it is important to refresh teachers’ training
regarding the high school literature program.The Advanced Literature course has
been created in order to fulfill this need. It is a 30-hourcourse for EFL
teachers in Israel who successfully participated in one of the earlier 56-hour
training courses. This course is a national course with teachers from all over
the country and will be presented totally online. The course in completely
online, there will be no face-to-face sessions.
