We just organized a rally for Israel in Buffalo. It started when Moriah
(daughter)and Yael (niece) told the rabbi that we need to do something. That
night he sent a letter to the other Rabbis from differeent congregations, the
federation immediately helped organize and by Tuesday we had a big rally. It
was very informative and we raised over 200 thousand NIS. I spoke to Ariel once
and Avner was able to talk to him briefly last week.
Wanted to take a short trip to Thousand Islands but it will have to wait.
I pray that you and your family are safe.

Dear All,
Reading the news about Israel while here in Texas is not easy. We are a little
encouraged by the support some Europrean countries are beginning to express.
We pray for the safety and well being of all back home, especially for our
soldiers. Sandra, Glenda, and any other colleague with a son in uniform, my
thoughts are with you and I pray for a speedy conclusion to these troubles.

I'm able to access my internet every few days. Although I'm in the midst of a
high tech society, my mom doesn't have a computer nor cable. She believes in
face to face. Maybe it's good to be a little detached. My mom has more energy
than last year. However, her hearing and sight is a little worse. It's really
good to be here with her. My husband ,Avner and my youngest, Aviad just landed
in Israel. Moriah and my niece just joined us. My sister is coming just before
I leave. So my mom will have a full summer. I finally talked to Ariel after two
weeks. It was so good to hear his voice. Unfortunately, he won't be released
this Shabbat as originally planned.
It's a pleasure reading the Canadian newspapers. Unfortunately Hasbara needs to
work on the New York Times etc.
How is everone doing?
