I think that it is very good. However, I think that the point that teachers
will be given tools to implement the vocabulary component in the revised
curriculum should be emphasized more.

Teaching Vocabulary in Elementary, Junior High, and High School. The convention

Our lecturer will be Prof. Penny Ur, the renowned ELT expert, author, and
teacher trainer
In the first hour, Penny will look at
a.. some of the key research findings with practical implications for the
teaching of vocabulary
b.. the vocabulary component in the revised curriculum: what it is, how
it came about, and how to implement it.
In the second hour Penny will explain some practical principles and
demonstrate actual activities for vocabulary expansion and practice.
