I agree with Sandy.  Teachers like to come away with concrete ideas to use in 
their classrooms.

    Dear English Teachers,


    You are cordially invited to an English Teachers Convention entitled 
Teaching Vocabulary in Elementary, Junior High, and High School. The convention 
will take place on May 7th 2014  ז'  אייר תשע"ד at Mifal Hapayis - Rehov

    Our lecturer will be Prof. Penny Ur, the renowned ELT expert, author, and 
teacher trainer


    In the first hour, Penny will look at 
      a.. some of the key research findings with practical implications for the 
teaching of vocabulary 
      b.. the vocabulary component in the revised curriculum: what it is, how 
it came about, and how to implement it.  

    In the second hour  Penny will explain some practical principles and 
demonstrate actual activities for vocabulary expansion and practice.
