As you may know, this year, for the first time, Ort is hosting a year-long
hishtalmut composed of 3 ETAI events for a 30 hour gmul. There are 4 choices of
"mini-conferences" which are regional, and, hopefully, one especially
convenient for each teacher. There is a one day conference at Levinsky College
during the week before Pessach, and a 2-day conference at the Ashkelon
conference center in July, where we had the International conference last year.
In order to earn the gmul, each teacher must attend one mini-conference, and
the other two national conferences. A lot of effort has been invested in
planning these conferences - arranging for the best speakers, some from out of
the country and some from Israel. They promise to be interesting and inspiring
events. The way to sign up is to call the ETAI office and speak to
Karen ( 02-5001844). A few comments from the summer conference -“The
conference was awesome." “It has been an interesting and enriching conference
and we are looking forward to the future Etai activities.”
“We enjoyed taking part in the ETAI conference and found it both interesting
and very productive."Teachers should go to this site:
