Actually, I've found voiceover getting started to be invaluable and even have the hardcopy version of the book that I ordered from Apple. Remember that it's primary emphasis is to explain voiceover; it's not a Mac tutorial per se. I don't think it's an "either/or" scenario with using different resources. I think that the more resources are available the more people can choose according to their learning styles or use each resource for whatever help it gives them. Also, I don't think this is the "cheatsheet"; I'm thinking maybe the cheatsheet David is referring to is the VoiceOver Commands chart. But I only see this available in pdf and I don't see any indication that this is available in braille from Apple; maybe I'm just missing it. I do see the information about where to call to order Voiceover Getting Started in braille. Btw the direct link to find all these downloads and the info for getting the Getting Started manual in embossed braille is:
