[macvoiceover] suddenly my cd drive is not seeing blank disks

Ok today I slip a blank cd in and it is not seeing it at all. I can't mount
the cd using disk utility and i don't know what to do. It recognizes music and
other non blank disks but I don't know what to do. I sing soon an need to burn
a disk for them. Using a mbp that's about 7 months old and all up to date. I'm
running the latest version of SNL.
