[macvoiceover] questions regarding vlc player

Hi all, just wondering, when you get the message, when first starting
vlc player, that it needs an update, is the update automatic, or do you
have to go to the videolan.org site to get it? I had this message come
up on the vlc player that was updated, I believe, on the eighth of this
month, that I installed last week, and I have the check box checked
that says check for updates automatically, so just wondering about
this, and thanks in advance.
