Hi, Brett,

Yes, I discovered how easy it is to turn on and off whatever speakers/airport 
express I want to with the remote app, which is actually very cool.

But you are correct, it does not solve the problem on the mac itself, notably 
for those who do not own either the iPhone or iPod touch.

It needs to be fixed on the mac, and I've written to accessibility about it.  
It would be best if you would do the same, as well as anyone else who has 
experienced the same problem.
