Hello, pressing command option L in Safari should bring up the downloads window. In the window is a table of your current downloads. Interact with the table, and then interact with the download. You should then be able to see the progress. If by chance you press command option L and nothing happens, go to the toolbar and interact. In there is the actual downloads button. Press that and the download window will open. Another way to quickly check the progress of a download is to go to the dock, and navigate to your downloads folder. Voiceover will read out the percentage completed of your downloads. hth Ricardo Walker ricardo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Twitter:@apple2thecore www.appletothecore.info On Jan 13, 2013, at 7:07 PM, Keith Brown <kbrown7@xxxxxxx> wrote: > on the subject of downloads, is it possible to monitor the rate of progress, > as i can only find what's downloading and no idea of progress etc. > > thanks > > > Keith Brown > >> Click on the link below to go to our homepage. >> http://www.icanworkthisthing.com >> >> Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. >> //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover >> >> Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to >> macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >> with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web >> interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover >> > > Click on the link below to go to our homepage. > http://www.icanworkthisthing.com > > Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. > //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to > macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web > interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover >
