No, I don't have any sight. But I do know that if I do option-g, which is
not for a sound but to open a folder, it doesn't happen and since this is
set up for keyboard commander in voiceover utility I think that means
voiceover is actually going off.

To check whether VO is turning off or going mute, you might try turning the

However, I have enough sight to perceive the change, you may not.

Well, it happened again. Voiceover stopped and I couldn't find any way to get
it back. Had to force my computer to shut down and start up again. I am
beginning to think that it has to be something I am doing when working on the
keyboard and that it is something that was not triggered before and is now
because of the change in doing the voiceover rotor. I am thinking that I am
going to interact or do something like that that either involves the shift key
or maybe something else. I hope I eventually figure out what it is because this
is becoming very annoying. It isn't that it happens necessarily that frequently
but it isn't convenient whenever it happens.
