[macvoiceover] iTunes sorts by author when transferring audio books to iPhone, I'd like to change this

In the audio books section of iTunes on my Mac my audio books are identfied and
sorted by title, but when I go to transfer them to my iPhone they only appear
by author. This is fine except when I want to transfer one of five books from a
given author.
Can anyone give me a heads up on how to change this appearance?
Just so I know what I’m talking about here, these are the steps I’m taking to
transfer.
In iTunes click the butto that says iPhone.
Got to the playlists table, select audio books.
Go to the scroll area that has the book grid.
Interact with that book grid and check the boxes of the books I want to
transfer during a sync.
Find the apply button and click it
It’s the book grid where I check the boxes where things are only identified by
author.
