[macvoiceover] downloading files confusion

Hello,
Using Safari, I logged into the NLS BARD site and downloaded a book. But now I
can't find where it was downloaded to on my Mac. I thought it might be in the
Downloads folder on the Dock, but I can't seem to open this folder by using
VO+ or with Command+o.
What am I doing wrong?
