There is a syntax of how a link is written. Here is a typical example:
<li><a href="https://www.amazon.com";> amazon </a>
You would change the url and web page name in the above for any other url
destination. The destination is what appears as the title of a link
name at the end of the above,ie. amazon, in a html file..
In textedit save the file with a name of your choice with the html extension,
a simple htm will work also. Open the file in a browser and
the name for the link should appear and take you to the url destination. . That
is the basic syntax for a link, open a simple html file in
textedit and see the syntax for text entry fields and other html file features.
