First of all I want to thank you all for responding. I used all of your
answers to find the perfect answer. I love this list what a cool thing.
I am using Catalina. I was forced in to buying a new computer after 8 years.
Here in the office we have had to replace 3 old computers one was a mini that
housed a database.
The good news is that I found what I was looking for. I have the siri mail
voice on my iPhone and I wanted it on the mac but it was not available until
now. I like this voice! Much Joy, well at least some joy.

5. Arrow right & verify that the Voices Tab is selected.
6. Arrow right passed the Pronunciation Tab & Mute Speech Check Box to the
Customize Language table & interact w/ it.
7. Arrow down once to English.
8. Arrow right once to the Voices Popup Button, usually on Alex, & select it.
After that you can arrow up & down to select a previously downloaded voice or
use the last option, Customize, to add other voices.

My quick method is to press vo command shift then left/right arrow to voice
then up/down to alternaative voice, once selected release keys.
