Actually, my tiff files aren't in scans; they are in my home directory under Pictures, which is the default for vuescan. But of course, having turned them into readable rtf files, and not knowing that they were only being saved to a temporary files area, I erased tiff files after each scan session. I wouldn't want to keep a bunch of old tiff files that I'd have to hunt through if I ever needed one. But there has to be a way to change the save location without having to manually save each one you want. This information definitely needs to be included in the guides on www.icanworkthisthing.com so people don't do a bunch of work and not realize it isn't really being saved.
