Hi Keith,
That was a GREAT* post man!!!
Well, my client, (named Wally who lives in Grand Rapids, Mi.), wants to use the
internet, do email, scan and read printed material, use a printer, and he's a
professional blind musician.
He wants to have his own internet radio station, but he also has played piano
and organ and keyboard, and wants to record his own alboms.
He wants to go to his local Apple sotre in Kentwood, Mi., but he doesn't wanna
waste time or money buying it, if the guy who works there who said he would
help Wally doesn't know anything about voiceover, and how to use it.
I want Wally to get his hands on a mac and try it out first before he buys it.
He's a Christian like you and I are as well, and wants to do Bible study with
quick verse (which I understand will be usable with voiceover in August.
take care and god bless,
Harry

Hello every one,

I saw a list of software on the list the other day, I don't remember
who it was from and the lister wanted to know if the software on the
list would work with a MAC. The thing that I ask some one who is
interested in a MAC is, What do you want your MAC to do. Then, when
they tell me what they want there MAC to do, we can begin to search
for software that will work. Frankly, I have found that My MAC will
do much more for me than my Windows computer ever did, but then, my
needs may be different than for some one els. So you first of all
as with any computer find the need and then pick the program.

Here is a good example for me.

Ical does not speak well at this time, but, I needed a calendar
program, so I am useing Daychaser, which is really a better program
than ical.

So the question really is,what do you want your mac to do.

Thanks for listning to my rambelings.
