[macvoiceover] Weird Behavior in Mail

Hi,
Last night, Mail started behaving strangely. Instead of (for
instance) saying "Inbox 50 messages 10 unread" it started saying, "0
messages 12 unread." While this behavior isn't really horrible, it is
a bit confusing.
I went to disk utility and ran the "repair preferences" thing to
hopefully get some of the strangeness to go away but, alas, it
remained the same.
Anyone have any ideas?
