Seriously, I was a programmer for years & I learned to just shut the
darn’d thing down & reboot when it starts acting stupid. Doesn’t
always fix it, but it rules out those type of gremlins.
My wife works with a guy, who’s a technical expert. His answer to
every problem @ her fortune 100 defense contractor is, “did you shut
it down & restart?” Good enough for him, good enough for me.
