Did you try a key plus the fn key if there is one?

supposed to do this. You might find that something labelled as a function key

failing that, could you just turn off the keyboard when dictating and turn it
on again when you want to navigate or type.

different depending on what app and function I'm in. The keyboard is made for
an iPad, so I assume it has the right layout. Command option and control are
where they are supposed to be, but the bottom left corner is the odd key.
Other than that I'm in pretty good shape. I figure I'm at about 80% work
efficiency without my Mac. Next step is to try Pages and Numbers on my phone.
I know it won't be 100%, but I need to have access to my work spreadsheets
and basic documents if I'm ever stuck like this again.
