You should be able to VzO-right arrow once you press command-f. There
should be a checkbox for replace with. Once you check it, the field for the
replacement should be available. You then navigate to replace all, or next.
Find the, Done, button, when finished. This is how I have done the same exact
thing you are trying to do with double spaces at the end of sentences.

Hi, all.
Recently, the convention shifted back to only having *ONE* space after a
period, instead of two. This means that I’m going back into old documents and
deleting two-space blanks, and replacing them one space after the end of a
sentence.
I’m doing this primarily with TextEdit on my MacBook Air, running the latest
Bis Sur build. I am able to use Find (Command F) just fine, searching for the
string (Period space space). However, I cannot seem to enter, or even find,
the “replace with,” box. So, I can’t find the place to enter in the string,
(Period space).
I have a similar problem when trying to convert a text document to an HTML
document, attempting to replace the double-return of a paragraph signifier
with the HTML code for paragraph breaks. I simply can’t seem to find the
“replace with,” box.
Can anyone give me any tips about this?
Thanks very much.
