I hope your iPad didn't get an idea :-) If they are getting ideas they are
becoming dangerously intelligent and i'm getting rid of all my i-devices
immeediately!
But seriously, autocorrection is indeed turned off in the location you mention
as I recall. I believe you also turn off the predictive feature in the same
place and I wonder if that could have been part of what you are seeing though I
don't know if it does that in notes or not. You might try turning that off too
next time.

I am deaf-blind. Recently I used the iPad with a type cover for
communication at a retreat. The Notes application did well. However,
after a while it seemed to get the idea that it should highlight and
autocorrect every typo. That did not help communication!! We went into
settings.general.keyboard and turned off spell-checking, but it still
highlighted and complained about mispelings. How do I get rid of
spell-checking entirely?
Thanks,
John
