Hi,
Because the viphone, MacVisionaries and MacVoiceOver lists all have specific
purposes, we launched the vo-bs mailing list where conversations not
appropriate to the actual meat of these other lists can go. Sometimes when a
thread gets off topic, it is moved for further comment to the vo-bs list which
creates a little problem - namely, some people will get a post that tries to
move the discussion to the other list and respond to it without being a member
which will cause it to come to me for approval. Even if I approve it, though,
non-members won't see it or the responses to it so joining the list is pretty
important.
To join: send an email to vo-bs-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word
"subscribe" in the subject field. I'll approve you as quickly as I can and
you'll be all set to bs with the bs'ers. The vo-bs list is typically pretty
low volume but, once in a while, a topic will catch fire for a few days and
generate a bunch of messages.
