I am having a really strange problem here. When running vuescan and then
converting from tiff or pdf to text ABBY FineReader fails with the following
error:
Error loading image file (then gives a long filename ending in .tif in
/var/folders; the foldername may vary) Internal program error:
/Users/andrej/NightlyBuild/fre-8.0-Darwin-i386.19499.build/FineObjjects/inc/File.h,46.
(I may not be copying the whole path here exactly since copy and paste won't
work in the critical alert dialog and it probably varies from try to try. I
don't have a /Users/andrej for one thing. I tried this on another computer and
the same thing happened. It doesn't happen every time I go to convert a file.
Has anybody seen anything like this? The original computer on which this
happened is running the latest sierra but the same thing happened on an el
capitan install when I copied both the app and the file to be converted to it.
This is the third file I have had this problem with this week. So far it hasn't
happened with any other applications. I don't think the file to be converted is
itself corrupted. I have had the same problem if just loading the file into
ABBY FineReader directly instead of from vuescan.
