I upgraded my 2014 macBook air to Sierra last year and don’t recall any major
problems whatsoever. I’m currently running the public beta of High Sierra.
In both cases, I find my MacBook air to be more responsive. VoiceOver seems
more responsive especially when typing. I honestly can’t think of a reason
for you not to upgrade to Sierra. High Sierra should be released soon.

Hi listers,
I have a 2014 Macbook Air running El Capitan. Can I hear your opinions on
the pros and cons of upgrading to Sierra please. I know about Siri. More
concerned about real voice over advantages or performance.
With thanks,
