I know that I am. I really like the Ava voice. It seems to me to be the
most expressive voice but it has so many low frequencies for my ears.

Mark, that is interesting regarding your preference due to your hearing

Oddly, I’ve found over time that Fred is the most easy for me to
understand, and the quickest voice. Then, one day, I slowed it way way
down, and realized that it sounded eerily similar to the voice Steven
Hawking used and made famous in his “A Brief History of Time,” and other
lectures. I also found that Fred is quieter than most of the other voices.
You’d think that Alex or one of the better voices would be easier for me to
use, but something about the Fred voice seemed to suit me. These days, I
use Alex anyway; I’d LOVE to have a female voice for my computer and phone
and other devices, but with my hearing loss, I just can’t hear them as well
as I can a lower, male voice. The British voice, Paul I think his name was,
is my runner-up. Just putting in my opinion. :)

I enjoy a change now and then, however it only lasts a few days. I think
over time Alex is the most accurate and satisfying.
But I am always open to progress.
I once had about six different voices allocated to different tasks but
there was a slight delay when shifting, that was on my previous machine
and probably those issues have been resolved.

Hi folks,
I have been using a new voice for the last couple of days. Well at
least it is new to me. It is the Seri female voice.
The voice has a name but I have not been able to pin it down.
The voice is bright and cheery, snappy and very responsive.
Nice for a change and has made my work more fun.
