Hello list, I’m setting up to record some worship musicians at church, I’m
running my mix from the sound board through an audio interface to my Mac, so
all good there, but I’m looking for best options to record both the audio and
the video, together preferably so I don’t have to mix them after.
I don’t need to do multi track audio, I’m going to manually mix from the board
down to a single output.
Right now my plan is to use Quick Time because you can capture the audio from a
source you select, in this case my USB audio interface. Also you can use an
IPhone as an external camaera, meaning a pretty good video feed. Yes, I’ll have
a sighted person work the camera, although my random angles might be rather
artistic.
So, anybody have a better idea than Quicktime for getting a simple video with
good enough audio?
