From what I've heard, once you purchase Lion and download it you get a message when you go through the purchase procedure that you've already purchased Lion and you get the opportunity to download it again. It's a good idea to burn what you download to a DVD first since a successful installation deletes the image you downloaded as it completes. So burn first and then maybe try the install from the dvd. Reference is tech chat 110 on IBlink radio on my IPhone 3gs for this information. On Sun, 24 Jul 2011, col shawx wrote: > after downloading Lion, instigating the install from the applications folder. > I work through the install windows, agree to all, type my user name and pass > word. > I receive a message saying, the down load is corrupt during download. > How do I re instigate a new down load. > thanks. > Col. > ---- > > > > Click on the link below to go to our homepage. > > http://www.icanworkthisthing.com > > > > Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. > > //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > > > Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to > > macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface > > at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > > > > > Click on the link below to go to our homepage. > http://www.icanworkthisthing.com > > Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. > //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to > macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web > interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover >
