Listers,

As most of you know I just purchased a Mac Book Pro. I have been playing around with it for about a total of 2 hours. I would like to first say that I can see why Voice Over is a good screen reader solution. I can understand the layout and how to do basic navigation however I have a few questions.

1. How do I close a program, can the finder be closed, what about things like text edit and i toones?

All Mac programs, with the exception of the Finder, can be closed from the Quit command found in the file menu. or by doing a command-Q from the keyboard. If the program has unsaved work you will be prompted to save it before quitting the program. The Finder can not be quit and runs all the time.

2. Apple says that the Notebook will detect my wireless network on its own. Is this in fact the case or do I need to do something to make it work.

In general this is the case. When a wireless network is discovered you will be notified and given the opportunity to connect to it. Make sure that AirPort is turned on for this to work.

3. What view is most accessible? i.e. Column view, list view or icon view

It up to you I like list veiw.

4. How do I navigate the finder?

Note: I have only been in the Mac Universe for a couple of hours, so be descriptive. Thanks in advance
