nope, it's not there unless you put it there although in my upgrade, it was there.

Hi Sara, I wonder if this has to do with snow leopard launching in to the desk top window rather than the finder window the way leopard does, and if using command accent will get you back to the area where you can see your hard drive again.

Thanks David and Ashley for reminding me it was in Finder prefs. It actually was checked. Not sure why I didn't find my drives. Oh well, they're there now anyway.

Hi all.
I just installed the new kitten.
She's currently purring on my iMac.
I put in the disc and it opened up a disc. I don't know if anybody noticed, but there's a folder that says optional installs.
I just ran the install one though and didn't try anything optional.
It got to a few percent and then restarted. I had to command f5 a couple times but eventually got VO.
I never saw the select language screen.
I had braille during the install with my pacmate 20 display through USB. I don't like some of the new verbosity things and I forgot how do I get my hard drives to show on desktop? I know somebody posted this but now I can't remember. Everything still works and I am typing this from my VM with windows xp.
I haven't tried Safari or anything else yet.
