Thanks, Carlos. Once again, I need to be sure that the USB-C end is female, to
mate with my flash drive. I bought a USB-C to VGA adapter cable, and it came
with two male ends, so I couldn’t mate my flash drive to it, even if it had
been the right size, which it wasn’t. How can I be sure I’m getting the right
genders with this adapter?

Hello there. I have a USB c to USB A adapter. This works great for
connecting any of my USB A devices, including flash drives. You can get
these adapters from several places including amazon and Apple. Hope this
helps.

Hi, list:
I have a MacBook Air 2019, which has two Thunderbolt ports. I have a flash
drive with a USB-C male connector, and I need to get the info off it and
transferred to my Air. How the HECK do I do this? Is there a converter cable
I can buy, if so, where can I get it? I am also having what I think might be
Bluetooth connectivity issues between my MacBook and my Focus Blue, which
might be most easily solved by a hardwire connection, but am running up
against the same problem of mismatched USB ports. Please help, I’m really
not sure how to fix this...
