Congrats, Keith! I'm so glad youfinally got your hands on one. Any chance
one'll find its way into your home soon?

Best,

Donna

Subject: [macvoiceover] My first touch of the touchscreen of an iPhone 3GS.

Hi folks,

My lovely wife Suzie and I went to the AT&T store this evening and I spent
about a half hour with the new iPhone. Before we went, I did some home work
and here is the things I used to study,

http://www.icanworkthisthing.com/docs/iphone/index.shtml

Please keep these things handy. Whether you have never used an iPhone at
all, or, if, you are a new user, this stuff will really come in handy.

How did it go, glad you ask, it went just great.

I found that using the split tap method works best for me.

Split tap is when you have a finger on a button, letter, number and so on,
and tap the screen anywhere with another finger on the same hand, or, a
finger on the other hand.

I was able to open apps, type numbers and remove them, type in a text field
and remove the letters, scroll with 3 fingers up and down, 3 finger swipe
from left to right and right to left to turn pages and adjust the volume of
Voiceover when it was speaking with the rocker control on the left side of
the phone.

My lovely wife did help me to know what was on the screen at first to make
sure that we spent the time well.

Frankly, I had some doubts as to whether I could do this, but, with a lot of
time and with a lot of help,

I can work this thing!
