Hello list, just a heads up on working with tables in Pages for Mac since the
latest update. I’ve been noticing that I can’t tab or arrow into merged cells.
If you’re experiencing the same issue, my work around was to select the table,
then hit unmerge all cells in the VO shift M context menu. Then after editing I
selected the cells I wanted to merge and did so through the context menu.
Just did a little further testing, and as long I had a cell that wasn’t merged
in a row, I could select that row and unmerge all, helpful if you have merged
cells in a row that you want to leave merged while you do your edits.
I’d appreciate a heads up if anyone has a better work-around than this, or if
merged cells are behaving properly for you.
