Well, I find it not so cool. I mailmate a try. But for starters I wasn’t able
to import my four or five accounts from apple mail. So I configured my main
account manually. I got an empty inbox but I was really able to send and
receive mails. But then came the next issue. Mailmate seems unable to stay
online with my account I was testing. So checking intervals would be 5 minutes
minimum. Well, ok I thought, I could probably work with that. So I let it run a
bit. but after some minutes I got server errors and such.
And my business mail for the church is an exchange account which mailmate
probably can’t handle right now.
So, honestly I’m a bit disapointed and not so impressed with this probram. It
looked so promising …
But I really wanted to give it at least a try and I’m happy for you Keith that
it’s working for you. Perhaps I might give mozilla Thunderbird a try. Otherwise
it seems I’m stuck with apple mail.
What I don’t like in Apple mail right now is that I loose the view option „sort
by conversations“ at least once a day. Does anyone of you know why this could
be?
