Thanks, I have done this and the machine still doesn't seam to be as responsive as I would like. I have selected option 2 which is to reinstall lion, but when I get to the point of being able to start a download, there is no movement on the progress bar and it is telling me it will take 5 hours to complete. We can take this off list if need be. I am also wondering if I repartition the hard drive and really get a clean start, if this would do the trick. Thanks!
