Hi Ian,
To be honest, I can’t say exactly when it started happening. Quite recently, I
think. Perhaps with the latest Safari 10.0.2 update that I installed a few days
ago. I typically don’t use item finder every day, so it may have been going on
before this latest Safari update. It doesn’t seem to matter how many items are
in the list when it finally opens. Very odd. I will write in to Apple
accessibility about this as well.
Thanks,
Russell

Is this a new problem, like it just started occurring? Also, how many items
end up on your item list?

Hi everyone,
When I try to use the item chooser in Safari, it takes forever to populate a
list of items I am searching for. For example, on my banking website, I use
the item chooser to find the “Sign in” link. I press VO + I, and get the
message “Safari busy”. I must wait at least 35 seconds before the list of
search items appears. , Is there a way to fix this. I am running El Capitan,
latest update, and Safari, version 10.0.2, also the latest update.
Thanks for any ideas.
