And, just to throw a monkey wrench in the works, here's how I do things (completely different from Keith). To get to the doc, vo-d does it for me. I don't keep much in the doc, only things I use every day (terminal, mail, safari and such) The finder is always open, so I simply command-tab until vo says finder. I find this works fairly well for me. Also, in finder, I use column mode, and always start out by pressing command-shift-c to get the entire computer listed in the finder (this after you've added it to your sidebar via the file menu (think it's the file menu anyhow) Then, I simply arrow down to the drive I want (I have three of them, one of which is split into 5 sections) then right arrow into that drive, and so on until I get where I want to go. Once I find the file/program I want, I press vo-space on it, and it launches.
