Is it possible to connect an Apple TV 4th Gen to a laptop using the HDMI cable?
I want to demo my Apple TV in the basement of a church. The church has no TV,
and I don’t want to pack my TV to the church. What I’d like to be able to do is
take my Apple TV and a laptop, either a MacBook or PC and hook the Apple TV to
the laptop through the HDMI cable in order to demo the Apple TV, with both
audio and video. Is this even possible? My Yoga 2 Pro laptop doesn’t have an
HDMI port. Is there such a thing as a USB to HDMI adapter? If not, if the
MacBook in question has an HDMI port, can this then be accomplished?
Is there any other way to do what I wish? Is it possible, for example, to
connect an Apple TV to a computer monitor through HDMI?
The church does have WIFI, so that’s not an issue.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
